Bodegas Valduero are among the top wineries in Europe, making wines at high altitude (800-900m), with very low yields, with the aim of producing high quality wines with character and complexity. Yolanda, Carolina & Gregorio's philosophy is to respect the land and allow the vines to express themselves without the use of pesticides, irrigation or fertilisers.
With 15 months in barrel and 18 months in bottle this low-yield wine develops rich, grippy tannins and notes of clove and nutmeg. A beautiful wine with great structure, plenty of ripe fruit and a long finish. Pairs excellently with lamb or aged cheeses.
