Rioja is well known to us in the UK as a wine producing area of Spain, but it is equally famous for its gastronomy and regional produce. Conservas Rajope is a family run business that started in the 1980s and focuses mostly on drying and preserving the fruits and vegetables of the region.
The Nora pepper is a small round pepper found across Spain, but particularly around Catalunya and the Levant areas. This rich paste is perfect for adding depth and flavour to vegetable stews, rice and fish dishes adding depth to lentil dishes and is a key ingredient in Salsa Romesco.
