After nearly 30 years of producing world-renowned wines in the Ribera del Duero DO, Bodegas PradoRey has recently acquired a new terroir in the tiny village of La Seca, DO Rueda, which is used to produce the Crianza. Both Verdejo and Viura grapes are grown at the vineyard.
On the nose, the Crianza has ripe red fruit and floral aromas with hints of spices, especially vanilla, as well as hints of incense, violets, cedar, black cherry and blueberry. On the palate it is rich and structured - the tannins are smooth with similar fruit characters as on the nose. The oak influence is perfectly balanced with the fruit. The finish is smooth and persistent.
