To kick off our spring DO Rueda promo we are teaming up with Susy Atkins and the team from The Three Wine Men.
The DO Rueda is Spain’s number one white wine producer famous for its classy, native varietal Verdejo and great Sauvignon Blancs. At this virtual tasting, the Sunday Telegraph’s Susy Atkins will introduce you to three delicious wines to take you on a journey around this region.
In Spain wine is always served with a delicious array of tapas so Susy will be joined on screen by Shumana Palit of leading Spanish deli Ultracomida to talk through the gourmet goodies she has chosen to pair with the wines. Found on Spain’s high central plains, an hour and a half north-west of Madrid, the region has made its name for producing some of the best white wines to come out of the Iberian Peninsula. Rueda produces fresh, aromatic whites, packed with fruit and perfect to match with food or when you feel like a glass of something chilled, refreshing and different.
