Mas d'en Gil is one of the most prestigious wineries in Priorat, and is one of the most exciting Spanish DOs of the moment. The estate benefits from slate soil, a micro-climate of broad temperature ranges and warm, humid air from south easterly breezes. Taking advantage of the unrivalled natural conditions of the land and combining tradition and technology, they now produce unique and complex wines.
This wine is aged in large, old wood casks for 10 months before release. Intense cherry red in colour, the bouquet offers aromas of ripe fruits and sweetish spices, which transform into balsamic notes. Gripping and with fresh acidity in the mouth.
