Herpac was founded in 1986 by the Pacheco brothers. After many years working in their small fish shop in Barbate, Francisco and Diego have built their company into one of the most recognised and celebrated preserved fish producers in Spain.

 

Despite it’s great success, Herpac remains a family business and is now run by their third generation. The company is a leader in the canning industry, and it’s tuna mojama is one of the most recognized in the world, being one of the few chosen to wear the distinguished seal of the Protected Geographical Indication “Mojama de Barbate”. Having received countless national and international awards, Herpac products can be found in the most important stores and gourmet kitchens around the world. Along with this, the company’s continued commitment to the environment means they work exclusively with fish whose legal provenance is fully documented in accordance with Spanish and Community regulations. Therefore, all the Yellowfin tuna they work with has the Dolphin Safe certificate of origin.

  • Perishable goods: Returns are accepted only if the goods are damaged. You must contact us no more than 24 hours after receipt. You will need to return the item in its original, complete packaging. If the item has not been returned to us in its original condition we may refuse to accept the return. The original delivery documents will also need to accompany the goods, along with a receipt for the postage paid for returning the goods, if we are to issue a refund.  In the event of breakages we will refund all damaged items. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, or your right to return non-perishable goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulation.

    Non-perishable goods: You have a right to return them during the cooling-off period of 14 days, regardless of the condition of the goods. You will still need to follow the above requirements of returning the item in its original, complete packaging.
