Gin. We sure can’t get enough of those racy juniper notes interwoven with that satisfying array of botanicals. When it comes to Spanish Ginebra we are simply spoilt for choice & no one knows how to hit the spot better than Madrid based urban distilleria Santamania.  This month we welcome two new additions to their award-winning arsenal: their rousing Lola y Vera Fruit & their sumptuous Malayerba.

An eye-catching collaboration with fellow trendsetting Madrillenas, barbers turned producers Malayerba. The result is a stylish 100% natural, preservative-free gin that’s guaranteed to be all the rage here on in. Juniper, angelica, cardamom, cilantro, clove, fresh mint, pepper, liquorice, rosemary and thyme all play their part as they are macerated in and then distilled in Lola and Vera, the distilleries famous pair of copper stills.

2 to 3 months of resting & the addition of mineral-medicinal water from Valtorre spring, in Belvis de la Jara result is an out of this world, light, dry gin with an exceptional botanical flavours, highlighting the aromas of thyme, basil and fresh rosemary. Dressed to kill and flavours to match. This is sublime stuff as you’d expect!

This month’s second offering is their sassy Lola y Vera Red fruits Gin; undisputable proof that you can get amazing results from the challenging inclusion of natural juices in the distillation process. Distinctive, sassy and chock full of strawberries, red fruits, juniper and citrus notes, this is double distilled sophistication that knows how to turn heads at a fiesta.
